Bye-bye to 0-3 months stuff..

I haven't got the opportunity to thank everyone for giving Fahim presents and write about it in my blog. Time is very limited nowadays. Now I know why all mothers should entitled as 'supermomma'.. because a duty as a mom isn't easy. I myself has lost too much weight and the ideal weight that I ever wanted. :( It's all because of my dedication for looking after fahim zidane. Ahem! *this is going to be my speech if I win UK Mom's Award. kuang..kuang..

Ya..ya..back to the story, among all the presents that we received, one of them was from my dear friend mommy Fiza from Malaysia. She kirim the pressie thru my parents when they came here last time. Let see her gorgeous present... ;)

She said it was her mum who sew the barut. I also received another barut baby as a gift from my mom in law. Fahim's nenek sewed it by herself too. And because Aunt Fiza's barut is in small size, I always let Fahim wear them most of the time during his 0-3 month times. Now, Fahim is 3 month old and I noticed he soon can no longer wears the barut. Suda tak muat,huhu! Few more weeks I think Fahim has to say bye-bye, not just to the barut but also to most of his 0-3 month clothes. Kita simpan untuk adik fahim pulak..Eh?? :p

Thankfully nenek Fahim has made bigger size for his barut. Mekasih nenek :)

Not just the barut but most of his clothes too. Even tuala mandi dia (yang dapat free from Bounty) pun dah kecik (sebab dia dah besar!). Not to mention, his nappy too.. change oredy to Huggies size 3.

Another great present we got is a £65 Mamas & Papas gift card from hubby's colleague. We were thinking what and when is the best to use the voucher. So, when we realized that Fahim needs new clothes as he growing now plus it is summer sale everywhere, we think it is the time. *sengih tak hengat nak shopping free!

i told u i lost weight, and my salmon skinny jeans were no longer skinny.. :(

.. tapi mak bapak fahim macam bebulu jek sebab sale dia macam xsale. Well maybe because the brand itself selling pricey things..so bila dah sale pun mahal jugaklah kan. Maka mak bapak fahim cuba seboleh-boleh menggunakan £65 tu sebaik mungkin.. Haha!! Hasil 3 jam spent in the store sampai mak naik penin (sempatla fahim poo-poo ngan feeding kat situ), dapatlah grab 6 all-in-one/sleepsuits (3 of them are 6-9 mos), 7 short sleeves rompers, 1 all-in-one with hat (new arrival :D), a pair of jeans and because fahim was really behaved all day, daddy bought this for him..

.. a car seat mobile.. terpegun jek dia tengok sepanjang perjalanan balik ke rumah..

I washed all fahim's new clothes. One day, I plan to have a picnic with my friend, Simone, since the weather yang ala-ala summer ni. So I dressed Fahim with one of his new rompers. Haik? TAK MUAT?? terus check kat tag memang 3-6 mo. Ish..ish.. nasib baik mommy still keep the receipt tau. Luckily that any clothing from sale section can returns within 14 days. So last week mommy n daddy terpaksa pegi store M&P tu again.. tapi rompers sume takde size dah. Pikir2 baik ambik sleepsuits memandangkan summer pun dah nak habis..

..the good thing, kali ni sleepsuits ada corak lain pulak & size fahim. alhamdulillah.

Nasib baik ada sale, kalo takde sale rasanya kitorang tunggu sampai krismas sale le kot. Haha! Bila tengok baju Fahim dah mula tak muat, tetiba mak tangkap syahdu. How time flies.. dah ada few things yang kitorang mula rindu sebab fahim dah tak buat lagi. Fahim, don't grow too fast ok. Sobs..

Yeay, mummy & daddy won bids on Ebay! Cerita sebuah katil kecik yang hanya dia je muat, dan sebuah gobok atau lemari katik, juga muat barang dia je.... haishh!

Mummy bid the item for you baby..Mummy and daddy are planning to start decorating your nursery soon. It's not easy to win those stuff on ebay because they always 'laku macam goreng pisang panas'. If you lucky, you can get a brand new item with very reasonable price. Some of them are used, but still in excellent condition. Baby cot, moses basket, nursery furnitures are among hot selling stuff. And the best time to bid is at the very end of an auction, and that's not easy when there have many bidders at the same time. Pheww..

Firstly, daddy managed to buy a brand new Mamas n Papas baby cot and also a new Mothercare spring mattress Amicor for the cot bed from the Ebay. The seller is also expecting a baby on March and the cot bed and mattress are gifts from their family members, so never been used. We were happy to buy them for £85, which is more than half price.. The Mamas n Papas cot bed itself is cost hundreds pound... :) and the mattress is £54 from the store.

Secondly, mummy won bid for a baby wardrobe for £22.89. It really suits the cot bed as both of them are in white colours.Heeee...i love white so much. Macam suci gitew..kan? What do you think of these two stuff? Ok tak?

So daddy dah sewa small Fiat van untuk pick up barang-barang baby. Esok pagi-pagi kita akan pergi ke Liverpool (woohooo!) to pick up the wardrobe and on the way back tengahari tu singgah Crewe ambik baby cot pulak. Huhu..mummy yang excited sebab zaman skolah dulu mummy Liverpool's fan tau...Dah kawan ngan daddy kenalah sokong Man Utd kan..Nanti baby nak masuk fan club apa?Ala..mestilah ikut daddy, tau dahhh! Esok musti ajak daddy singgah Liverpool stadium okey?

Happy 2012! New Year Sale-Part 4

Happy New Year!

Dah masuk tahun baru. Happy New Year everyone! 2011 terasa sangat pantas berlalu..tahun di mana hampir separuhnya aku habiskan sebagai seorang bakal ibu. Alhamdulillah, 2012 ini, kami bakal menimang seorang cahaya mata cinta hati mummy & daddy :) Lantaran itu, hati sangat teruja membeli kelengkapan anak. ( (pehh ayat,teringat zaman buat karangan sekolah). Baby sekarang dah 25 weeks (5 bulan lebih), dan sekarang si kecil dah mula tunjuk skill tendangan Rooney dia, bukan takat rasa dah, siap boleh nampak lagi dah kat perut tu dia punya movement. Favourite time dia ialah bila aku pasang nursery rhymes macam Barneys, lagu-lagu nasyid dan selawat syifa, dan bercakap dengan dia. Bila nak tido pasang doa-doa dari iphone. :) We do love you so much baby.

Minggu ni memang asyik berjalan je kejenya. Maklumlah, encek zaid pun cuti. Dia yang excited nak usha-usha barang baby. Mak baby pun lagi lah eksaited. Hari Rabu lepas kitorang ke shopping mall Westfield Merry Hill kat Dudley. Kat Merry Hill ni ada retail parks jugak kat luar mall dia. Besar gile.. ni first time kitorang sampai sini.

Kitorang ajak Dalina & Jerul sekali to join us. Perjalanan ambik masa lebih kurang hampir sejam jugak sebab tak pernah sampai lagi ke sini, so terkedek-kedek nak ikut satnav. Ikutkan 40 mins je. Yang best kat sini semua store boleh jumpa, ada Debenhams, H&M, Topshop, Next, Gap, Primark even Clarks pun ada. Kalau kat retail park kat luar pulak ada Mothercare World, Toys R Us-Baby R Us, Matalan dan macam2 lagi. Rasanya sehari pun tak habis pusing.

Sampai je, kitorang semua berpecah. Aku dok pusing buang masa kat Debenhams store, ralik tengok Topshop and other labels tengah sale serendah £8 sehelai. Tapi biasalah, baju standard minah saleh pakai kadang tak cukup kain, kadang nipis sangat. Jalan masuk H&M baru best dapat tangkap 2 helai tops untuk cikgi eline. Kakak gue tu siap bagi list, maklumlah nak dikirim time parents datang nanti. Err..skinny jeans ye cikgu?Hehe..

Dah letih shopping, kitorang gather balik untuk makan. Yang tak best kat sini ialah susah dapat makanan halal. Mungkin ada tapi kitorang tak survey lagi. So far kat food court dia pun tak banyak choice for seafood. So we went to Pizza Express.

mine~apentah nama menu dlm Italian idok le ingat..yg pasti the pizza contains King Prawn, mushroom & cheese, and rocket salad with olives in the middle. Sedap!

Lepas makan kitorang berpecah balik sambung shopping. Aku dan zaid ke Primark. Takde apa yang aku beli untuk aku kali ni sebab hari tu dah shopping kt Cheshire Oaks, jalan-jalan ni pun saje tengok kot-kot ada yang best untuk baby. Since sale masih ada, dapatlah beli 3 helai seluar baby kat Pumpkin Patch. Incek zaid beli seluar keje dia di Primark. Tak sempat nak pegi Mothercare World. Takpelah, pegi yang kat Stafford jelah. Pukul 8 lebih kitorang pun balik.

Hari Jumaat awal2 pagi aku ada appointment dengan midwife. Alhamdulillah urine, heartbeat baby semua looks fine. Ukuran size perut pun katanya normal. Syukur sangat..Balik dari GP singgah Asda jap, beli pisang,tepung dan few barang2 dapur. Teringin nak makan lempeng pisang kekdahnya. Selesai bayar, kitorang breakfast pulak kat Asda cafe. Tak pernah bekpes kat sini, murah plak tu. Dahla drinks boleh refill. Order 2 cups of hot chocolates, 2 toasted breads, 2 hash browns, mushrooms, and baked beans. Enak bangettt!

Lepas bekpes, incek zaid ajak gi Mothercare. Selamba jelah pegi walaupun selekeh je. Kat sini takdelah segan nak masuk kedai, lainlah kat Malaysia tu..segan kang salesgirl dia pandang semacam, macam tak berduit sangat kan..huhu.

Tengah dok usha-usha stroller dan pushchair tetiba salesgirl dia approach kitorang. Dia pun explain jenis-jenis dan pro n cons each models. Finally we decided to choose this one..

The pushchair have 2 models My3 & My4 (for 3 wheelers & 4 wheelers type). We chose the 4 wheelers as it is ideal for us zipping around town, and with the great offer (save £100), the price is include rain cover and Maxi Cosy CabrioFix baby car seat as well. The stroller can be a pram when the baby is sleeping and converted to pushchair when he's awake, and will last to 3 years old, depends on the weight. And the best part is it's lightweight, has 3D fold function & good choice for a travel system, insyaAllah. :)

The pushchair will be delivered to us on mid-March. We chose to pay thru BabyPlan as we can spread the cost until the delivery of the stuff, and the best thing is we can still add on something to it later, or even to change the item to other brand let say..kalau guna babyplan ni cost dia cuma lebih £10 dari exact price, which is worth it for me.

Boxing Day-Sale Part 3

I've said before in Sale -part 1 that I won't take part in any events of boxing day, because I thought I won't be fit enough to be in over-crowding places. However..cough*,I also have my second thought that why not give it a try. Ala-ala jalan-jalan makan angin.. Kalau kedai penoh kita masuk kedai lain (yo yo oo). Okay,we've made the decision. We will start our journey early in the morning to get a good spot for parking.

On the morning of boxing day, I felt a little unwell. Tetiba ada ulser dlm mulut pulak, badan panas sikit. Baru teringat 2, 3 hari sebelum ni makan banyak kambing. Cuaca di luar pulak sejuk. Haih.. plan nak gerak seawal 8 pagi dah lebur..terus pejam mata sambung tido, sebab malam tak lena tido. Tetiba bangun pukul 11 dengan semangatnya buat announcement kat hubby "jom lah kita pegi tengahari ni. By the time kita sampai mungkin parking dah ada". Whatever..hubby ikut saje. :p

After took the shower n solat zuhr, I went down and had some breakfast. While waiting for zaid to get ready, I cooked nasi goreng belacan and hotdogs, as our lunch when we get there. Macam nak pegi picnic kekdahnye.. :p Luckily I still got a can of air kelapa masa beli kat kedai cina di Stoke. So apart of the lunch, I packed the drinks, 1 Mars & 1 Sneakers bars. We started our journey to Cheshire Oak about 1.30 pm.

Not too long on the motorways we then stuck in the traffic. Encik Zaid suddenly realized that there will be a football game on the afternoon between Manchester Utd vs Wigan at Old Trafford stadium. And because the city of Manchester is located between our Stafford to Cheshire Oak, that's the reason why the congestion occur. However the traffic wasn't too bad (not too bad if you have something to chew like Mars & Sneakers bars, hihi), we were still moving slowly until we reached our destination about 2.30 pm. We were so lucky to get a parking in front of Clarks store (samalah kita kak Ishamizu, ntah2 sebelah2 je kan hihi).

Park je keta, terus makan our fried rice and hotdogs. Bila perut dah kenyang, kaki pun ringan je nak berjalan. LOL... Kedai pertama op kos lah Clarks kan.Dah kata parking depan kedai dia. Err, did I said I am not fit enough to be in crowded places? Yeah right... -_- I underestimated myself. I was wandering, picking, and trying shoes happily without any problem. Not even until I've grabbed and paid 2 pairs of shoes. Yes TWO. One is a court shoe for my sistah, another one for me. Cikgi Eline, you're lucky woman cos I still remember you when I shopping. Bahah! Tak sangka size 5 (UK size) ada banyak choices this time. Maybe dah petang,orang dah berkurangan kot. Yang kesian encik zaid tidak punya rezeki nak beli kasut keje, sebab size 8 beliau dah habis.

Kitorang masuk pulak kedai Samsonite. This time hubby decided to buy 2 luggages since the prices has drop to 60%. As I've mentioned before that everytime we went back to Msia, we always had luggage problems such as broken wheels and carriers. So worth to buy one during this sale. :) I went to La Senza (lingerie and undergarments store) while hubby went to the next store. La Senza tengah sale £5 for a bra, and knowing that my asset* size has increased due to pregnancy, so grab jelah satu kan. Takleh beli banyak2, takot size increase lagi. -_-"

When hubby went inside the Levis's store, I took the opportunity to go to Gap outlet. Hmm..masuk kedai Gap tengok baju semua tunggang terbalik. Macam lepas tsunami. Haha! Tak sengaja mataku terlihat price tag kat sehelai dress hitam... £5!!! Terus grab size 10 & 12 ke fitting room. Sangat naisss dengan black tights, £5 for a Gap dress?Worth sangat2. :)

We couldn't find any satisfaction on stroller or pushchair in Mamas & Papas, plus it's already late. When the outlet was about to close, we drove back to Stafford smoothly without any congestion. And here are all our hasil tuaian on boxing day ^____^

Xmas Sale-Part 1

Selepas membaca sambil meleleh air liur kat blog Ishamizu tentang entry Clarks Clearance tu..terus plan dengan encek zaid nak start shopping barang-barang baby. Untuk pengetahuan,kitorang belum beli apa-apa pun lagi untuk my mini me. Memang sengaja tunggu Xmas sale..

Mula nak tunggu boxing day,tapi rasanya tahun ni tak pegi kot time boxing day. Bukan apa,diriku kini tidak betah lagi bersesak-sesak time sale macam dulu. Dulu belum berbadan dua, oklah nak berebut size kasut,berhimpit sume..Sekarang ni jalan berapa kedai pun dah mengah. Hehe..

Xmas hari Ahad ni, hari Rabu hari tu kitorang just try luck kot2 ada sale best kat shopping outlet Cheshire Oak (lebih kurang sejam 15 minit perjalanan dari Stafford). Tak plan pun, pukul 12 tengahari baru bertolak. Sampai je tengok ada je parking kat depan2 outlet Mamas n Papas. :)

Kedai pertama yang kitorang tuju ialah Pumpkin Patch. Beli baju newborn dan 0-3 months untuk dia.

bila kata jangan beli banyak2 newborn size nanti dia cepat besar,bapak dia pulak kata nanti dia tade baju pulak..haih..

Then, ke Mamas n Papas pulak. Tak sangka ada sale menareks..Baju newborn 0-3 months sedang sale 7 packs, Buy 1 Get 1 Free. Heehuu! Dapat 14 helai ye baby..

Udah-udah..tengok stroller dan barang2 lain pulak, tapi rasa kena buat research dulu. Stroller dan car seat kena gi Mothercare nak try pasang dalam keta dulu,baru puas hati. So gi kat Stafford je. Terus jalan lagi, sampai kat kedai Clarks. Mak & bapak berpisah ke section masing-masing. Time shopping untuk mak ngan bapak pulak.

Tapi takdela beli banyak kasut, sebab sale yang kutunggu Buy 1 Get another pair for £1 tak start lagi. Lalu ku aim sepasang ankle boot saje. Alhamdulillah tak ramai orang jadi size 5 ku ada je.Kalau tak size 5 memang larissss! Habis sokmo.

Bila gi bayar, pelik apesal kasut mak dan bapaknya total £30 aje. Kat tag sale boot aku dah tertulis £25. Takkan kasut bapak £5 je. Rupa-rupanya kasut aku tu dah jadi £15. Hee... :) alhamdulillah rezeki. RRP £59.90 rasanya..

Jalan lagi masuk pulak ke kedai Samsonite. Ok,announcement! Samsonite sedang BIG SALE ye. 50% sale..sape nak beli luggage ke,beg travel ke silala ye. Rasanya for 30kg luggage after discount £59.90.. kitorang dok terpikir2 nak beli ke tak, sebab Samsonite jarang sale gini. Tengoklah kalau perlu nak repeat balik. Reason? Setiap kali balik Malaysia luggage kitorang tak panjang hayat, kalau tak patah, roda yang tercabut.. :p

Aku beli beg backpack untuk bubuh diapers,baju dan botol susu dia bila bawak dia jalan2 nanti. £17 selepas discount 70%, kaler brown. Dah pikir dah,esok tolak stroller maknye kena lupakan sekejap handbag nya..kenalah galas backpack anak merangkap handbag maknye skali. T_T

Dah habis kat Samsonite, singgah plak kat 1 kedai ni Warehouse. Tak pernah aku masuk, tetiba ternampak skirt siap ber'belted' lagi..(verangan nak pakai ngan knee boot aku).. Harga dah jadi £5. Pulak tu Buy 1 Get 1 Free noks.. Tapi apakan daya maknye mengandung (suka tak sedar diri tau Y_Y) , terus pilih plain skirt labuh kaler black dan hijau gelap. Takpe janji murah kan..

Bila bapaknye nak melilau dalam Levi's store, maknye dah tak larat, lepak luar je. Tapi Levi's pun ada sale pair of jeans £55 Buy 1 Get 1 Free..banyak choice.. tapi bapaknye kalau maknye takde disisi memang takde feel nak shopping kan?Tau dah..maknye dah lapo. Nak cari fish n chips..

Dah beli 2 set fish n chips, kitorang makan dalam kereta je. Best betul sebab parking dekat. Dalam pukul 7 lebih camtu kitorang balik Stafford.

Dan inilah hasil menuai di cheshire oak..

After A Looooong Disconnection

Salam and hello to all bloggers. I feel like i haven't written for ages and i do miss my blog so damn much. Does any of you miss my writing? Nahh..ferasan! Haha.. Ni semua gara-gara penghijrahan ke tempat baru. Ok, i told you guys in the last entry that we're moving house and on the day we moved in, still there were few things that fair to grump about. Seminggu takde internet okay. And even worst there was no tv aerial. Oh boy, how am I going to watch the royal wedding? We noticed this 2 days before the royal wedding ye puan-puan. Sabo jelah, last-last seb baik dapat pasang semua sehari sebelum royal wedding. Pheww!

Nevertheless, we feel so grateful when everything have been sorted out and now happy living in our new home :) Thanks to The Merciful.

Before we officially move in, we decided to go to Ikea to buy something for our new home. Yes, it's time for the interior part. So we invited Dalina and Jerul to joined us in that mission. But first of all, we had full english breakfast at Frankie & Bennys, needless to say that you'll need full energy to walk around the Ikea, and for us to accomplish that mission too. ;)

Mission accomplished and we successfully bought few things such as curtains and the rods, wall shelves and for our kitchen. Gambar sabau ye tengah pulun mengemas ni. Fuh..fuhh!
