Nini & Niza Baby Shower

Bertuah betul diriku ini sebab cik puan delina sudi nak organize baby shower untuk i dan Niza. Dari A-Z lah dia yang uruskan, termasuklah invitation card, decoration dan food. We olls tak sempat nak meeting (ceh baria-ia) sebab cik party planner ni memang busy orangnya. Kejenya kerap outstation, takut menyusahkan pulak sebab dia baru je balik dari Brazil last week, then she threw the party on Saturday. Peh..gigih okay. Anyway, I don't have any words to say except.. I am so touched and feel so blessed to have all these. Thank you very much Dalina! :)

from the very beginning of my pregnancy I said I really love natural colours, not to blueish..she really takes note..awwhh! ~cair jap tgk knitted cardigan tu.

Our baby shower tea party started around 3 pm and when all the guests have arrived by 4 o'clock, we started with fun activity, that was facial & mask session. But before that, everyone needs to wear a name tag and identify themselves as according as what've written on it.

Fun eh?

Memang kelakar when they start to call everyone with those names..kadang-kadang tersasul. Okay, aku admit aku le tuh yang tersasul paling banyak -_-" Takpe, there was a fact saying that 'pregnant lady is somehow tend to be forgetful' (ceh..nak cover lagi).

Dalina masak mihun, red velvet cupcake, pistachio whoopie pie, mini strawberry tartlet, popia sayur, chicken samosa, sausage roll, choc sponge cream cheese cake. Ada jugak dia beli mini carrot cupcake, strawberry, limau. Niza buat puding bingka jagung yang sangat marveles, share recipe boleh? :) Kak Rose pulak buat brownies. Sedap-sedap semua makanan.. (mode terliur).

Aku tak masak apa-apa pun (tukang makan je). hehe..sebab aku sebok incharge activities. Sebenarnya patut ada make up session, tapi sebab running out of time, so itu jelah boleh buat. Harap semua had fun lah ye :)

Lepas makan2, Niza and I belek-belek hadiah pulak untuk tulis Thank You card buat semua yang memberi hadiah. Cantik2 semua hadiah..time kasih semua. \^_^/

Dan sebelum semua orang balik, aku sempat mintak diorang tuliskan message dan mendoakan semoga segalanya berjalan lancar nanti. Time kasih semua :)

Kerabu perut, anyone?

Burpp!! Alhamdulillah.. Baru lepas makan tengahari, nasi panas berlaukkan salmon masak asam pedas (tade gambar sbb masak lauk biasa je, tapi ropa sama je mcm ni). Korang semua dah makan? Now dah 33 weeks. Baby kadang-kadang suka mengeras, sampai kena cakap kat dia "sayang, duduk baik-baik kat dalam tu, kasi mummy selesa sikit ye." Pastu cakap kat dia jom makan mummy masak sedap tau.. :p Kadang tu tengah cakap ngan baby, daddy kat dapo ingat kita cakap ngan dia..hahaha! :D Tapi teknik bercakap dengan baby tu memang menjadik ler.. lepas je cakap, terus dia meng'comfort'kan dirinya. Barulah mak dia ada feel nak makan bertambah :p Good boy!

Lama giler tak makan kerabu perut,sekali terjumpa satu butcher ni kat Birmingham. Betul-betul sebelah Momo's (Somalian restaurant). Tak pernah aku buat kerabu, rupanya senang bebenor..

Resepi Kerabu Perut (sukatan ikut selera tekak)

Bahan-bahan:

perut dicuci bersih, direbus sehingga sangat empuk & lembut

sebiji bawang merah dihiris halus

sebiji tomato dipotong dadu kecil2

cili padi & cili merah, sedikit belacan,garam & gula dikisar halus

perahan limau (aku guna lime juice)

kerisik (aku goreng desicated coconut sampai garing)

taugeh dicelur

kacang panjang dipotong kecil2

Cara:

Kelas Belajar Menjadi Emak dan Bapak-antenatal class pt1

One of the exciting parts when I knew that I'm pregnant is the chance to attend the antenatal class... for FREE! You know when we watch movie orang puteh the class that teaches parents-2-be on how to bath the baby, how to deal with pain during labour, breathing process and so on..macam interesting gitew (realitinya esok tak taula praktis ke tidok) :p

So, I booked 4 antenatal classes which are Preparation for Parenthood, Breastfeeding, Tour of Maternity Unit (in Hospital) and Preparation Labour & Delivery. I was overseeing the information on the leaflet that I supposed to book the classes as early as 12 weeks pregnant. But I thought when I have a big baby bump, that is a good sign to start the classes. Ceh..what a thought! Padan muka me all the Stafford antenatal classes (except for the tour) has fully booked..even worse only 1 class available this month. The rest need to attend on next month. Fuh..doa-doa baby tak keluar awal sebulan.kihkih..

And because all the Stafford antenatal classes is fully booked, I have to go to Stone (20 minutes drive). Zaid and I went to Trentside Clinic, Stone on last Friday to learn on how to be a parent..

Preparation for Parenthood Class

The class was fun and very informative. A mother, Rachel was kind enough to bring her 3 months old baby, Daniel and share her experience of labour, direct breastfeed in public, and many more. One thing that make me so 'teruja' is to see the calmness of her baby sleeping in his pushchair without being disturbed by voices in the classroom. Cakaplah sekuat mana pun elok je dia tido. Harap2 my mini me will do the same nanti. Amin... :)

As you can see Zaid has volunteered himself to bath the baby (dummy). It was quite funny and people started to laugh when seeing these 2 daddy-to-be bathing and dressing the dummy in slow motion. Zaid himself looks very soft in his action as if he's going to brake the dummy's arm. Teehee... but frankly speaking, seeing him bathing and handling the baby, then cuddling him makes me so proud. I know that both of us will be a good parent. Insyallah, amin.. :)

The 2 hours class end around 4pm, and since the weather was quite berangin sepoi-sepoi bahasa, we freshen up by lepak-lepak (dan camwhore semestinya) for a little while at the canal nearby.

The canal reminds me of our 1st home at Stone three years ago. We used to go jogging every weekend alongside the canal. Stone really has its exquisite view.

old time memories.. jaman kurus,jaman masih berdua.. :p

jogging pun sibuk nak camwhore..haih..

Can't wait to go to my next antenatal class.. breastfeeding..mmm, yeah I'm an alien on this. Lol!
