Fahim Zidane 2nd Birthday Party & Doa Selamat

Salam everyone. Last weekend was Easter holiday in UK and most of us were having long weekends. Hubby is also not working on friday and monday and it's school easter break as well. Tesco, Asda, and most stores were closed....So ada masa nak update cerita birthday party Fahim.

Perancangan asal nak buat birthday Fahim pada 5/4/14 (bday dia 4/4/14) tapi kita postponed ke next Saturday 12/4/14. Alhamdulillah majlis berjalan dengan lancar. Sayang sungguh dek kerana kebizian dan kekalutan di dapur, mak hencik tak dan nak snap table and whole party decoration. Pak hencik pun sibuk layan guests. Memang rasa nak nangis..harghh! Korang imagine jelah ek..

It supposed to be a Postman Pat theme, that was the reason I put my red tablecloth and red paper bags for kids goodies. To blend with the color we hang up red/blue/white balloons. For the back drop, I made the Happy Birthday & Fahim's name bunting. Thanks to our modern technology as everything can be downloaded easily. What left is to print, cut and hang it up. So ta-daah!!

-ustaz Daud dari Leeds berbual dengan Dr. Azman.

Event started at 3pm. Dr. Azman led the yassin recitation, followed by reciting du'a by Ustaz Daud. Later, everyone join in the makan2 session. The menu I cooked were mainly for 'minum petang' menu, mee kari, mee sup (for kids), bihun goreng and bihun goreng tomyam. For starter, I served yorkshire pudding with crab mayo filling (it's not a desert pudding..will try to show the exact picture next time). Raspberry trifle for desert. Another desert I made was banana with chocolate dip. I put the chunky banana on skewers, dip it with melting chocolate and sprinkle with cake sprinkles. Kids love that! 

The novelty birthday cake that I made was a chocolate cake with buttercream filling. Coated with sugarpaste. Tapi sangat tak puas hati sebab tak pandai2 lagi..haha!! Dah lama tak baking tangan kejung.. 

Anyhow, i would like to say thank you to every guests who came and brought scrumptious food and lovely presents to our dearly birthday boy. The most importantly, your presence really brighten up the party. 

To our 'little sausage' (nickname daddy give to Fahim), may you grow to be anak syurga mommy dan daddy, strong and healthy insyaAllah. Amin..
