Ini adalah kali pertama budak kici ni ngantuk tahap gaban camni. Masa ni aku tengah masak tengahari. So i let him play outside. Time ni gak ada orang datang pasang area dan mounting tv. Siap masak mommy panggil Fahim lunch sup ayam dan sayur. Cuaca sejuk hirup sup buat mata ngantuk agaknya. Orang drill dinding pun tak hairan. Last2 lalaland terus...

Aktiviti petang-petang sekarang kalau panas. Dulu ride-on Fahim ni kereta. Skarang bukak some part jadik motor plak. :p

Entry Lapuk: Musim Luruh Pertama Si Budak Botak di London.

*Amaran: Backdated entry. I think I wrote it on August last year. My gosh! Tahap dewa lapuknya sampai aku dah lupa nak sambung. Sayang nak delete sebab ada gambo budak botak umo 6 bulan ekceli. Maka pasrah jelah membaca ye*


We were in London few weeks ago to make Fahim's Malaysian passport and birth certificate. The weather was good when we started our journey from Stafford. Hubby drove our car to London this time because we weren't intend to sightseeing but just to do his passport. Hubby took two days off and we went to London on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. For this time, we stayed at Travelodge Heathrow West Bound (zone 5) because of its easy access from the motorways (highway) and there were also free parking space for the guests. We did love the idea of staying here because after having Fahim, there are lots of things to think about when traveling. Now we have to think about his own luggage, his stuff and toys, his stroller and car seat, and also need to stop for nappy changing and feeding. Hence, traveling by our own car is the best option..so far. :p


We arrived at Travelodge Heathrow around 4pm, and after check in done, we went off to its nearest town to find where the tube station was, as the preparation to get the tube to London city tomorrow morning. We're also bought takeaways 'Dum Chicken and Lamb Beriyani' (forgot the restaurant name) and they're so yummeh! Here you can find lots of halal food around, thus finding halal food was so much easier.


This was his second time sleeping at hotel, and it was not the same when he was 2 months old last time. This time Fahim was a bit playful, curious (nak tawaf and korek2 celah2 headboard katil), and because of his curiousity la susah nak tido. Haish.. But we managed to put him down inside his travel cot (hotel's) in the end.

On the next morning, we went to Malaysian Immigration Department (London) at Belgrave Square by tube all the way from Heathrow Wesbound station to Green Park. It was very easy to travel this way because no hassle to drive inside the zone 1 and what's more important was that it just took only 1 tube and no need to change from one train to another. And more excitedly, Fahim Zidane was also fascinated by his new ride-on-train experience. See his face..smiling and thrilled perhaps to see new surroundings. We brought his travel system too dan nasib baik 1 tiub je. Kalau kena turun naik tube memang leceh. Kalau naik tube senang carry Fahim dalam carrier sling je. Bolehlah time ni baru bape kilo, daddy pun senyum jek..cer sekarang? Mau patah pinggang!

Alhamdulillah,all the process didn't take too long and everything went well. We even had a good times sightseeing and walking at the Green Park, one of my fav places (and things to do) in London. The Park is big, beautiful, golden and leafy scenery as it was autumn that time. Squirrels were busy hoarding seeds and food for the upcoming winter. 

This picture will forever reminds me of funny story. The squirrel actually was standing on the grass few steps from us, and we were sitting on the bench like this..

I was the one who 'suit..suit' whistling to that squirrel. Konon-konon "alolo tupai cute!"..Suddenly the 'cute tupai' went nearer..and nearer to us. Too near untill my hubby and I pon tetiba cuak dan terus bangun sebab tupai tu dah stared macam nak terkam. Seriously, takot! 

Nasib baik 'tupai cute' tu blah..He p*ssed off maybe,ahh orang ni panggil tade makanan pon. Y_Y .Not very long after that, we saw two girls have been followed by a squirrel. And they ran away when suddenly the squirrel ran towards them. Hahaha!! Ok,for me that's horror kot.

Yes,it was his first autumn ever.. ahh..miss my botak lil' zidane. He was 5 mos i think. sorry,try hard to recall back.This is backdated entry,remember? -_-'

The next morning, after check out, we went to Kak Izu's house. Inilah first time bersua muka dengan blogger Ishamizu. Thanks for inviting us and the nice food too. Seronok dapat jumpa sebab dah lama borak dalam blog je kan..teehee..

After the visit, we went to Tun Abdul Razak Research Centre at Brickendonbury, Herford to celebrate the 2012 Merdeka Carnival. Sampai pun dah petang so just quickly grabbed some Malaysian food from the stalls. The prices were bit expensive..so beli yang betul-betul nak rasa je. Sebab kadang-kadang makanan yang dijual pun tadelah sesedap mana kan..so kitorang banyak borong kuih-muih kot like apam balik, murtabak daging, karipap, seri muka, kuih lapis, dan laksa asam.

Tun Abdul Razak Research Centre ni macam terletak kat kawasan farm yang santek gitu. Best tengok pemandangan. Sayang tak dapat stay lama-lama sebab hari dah makin gelap so kenalah teruskan perjalanan. We arrived home safely around 9pm.

New Hair Cut & New Mimilk?

Hollaa! Fahim Zidane dah masuk 13 bulan 12 hari. Banyak benda baru nak share kat sini tentang perkembangan dia. Fahim dah potong rambut. Daddy yang potong kali ni. Kasik nipis kiri kanan. Konon nak buat skrillex style la kan..tapi sebab daddy hairstylist yang tak terer amatur jadik begini jelah..

ok ka tada ok?ok kalu kasi angguk itu kapla..

Hihi..macam ni pong dah puas ati mommy dah sebab mommy rimas rambut Fahim panjang asek cucuk lubang tinge. Sian..Ringan sikit kepala mommy Fahim. :)

Another thing is, Fahim dah di'introduce 2 jenis susu iaitu whole fresh milk and formula milk (fm). Time breakfast as usual fresh milk dia akan minum dalam training cup sebab dia perasan nak minum dalam mug macam mommy dan daddy. :p Atau fresh milk dicampur dengan cereal + roti. 

Dan setelah buat research sikit, barula introduce toddler fm cap Aptamil kat Fahim. Sekali tu je try tade alahan pape terus je minum cap ni. Hihi..Oh yes,reason to drink fm? Actually taknak introduce fm mula2. Ingat nanti lepas Fahim sendiri taknak bmilk, nak bagi fresh milk aje. Sebab kalau kat sini kawan cakap paed dia suggest fresh milk je untuk her 2yo son dan tak perlu lagi minum formula milk. Sebab fresh milk dan formula milk sama je khasiatnya. Tapi sebab Fahim suka warm milk,dan kalau fresh milk nak dipanaskan dengan microwave takut zat nya habis, sooo leceh..Maka fm je. Dan of course semenjak makan solid food kualiti bmilk menurun. That's the main reason. Sebelum introduce tu selalu sangat dia terjaga banyak kali tengah malam. Bfeed pun susah nak tido balik pastu. For me, it was not a good idea to let him fall asleep (nyenyak habis) when bfeeding sebab bila nak letak dalam cot dia menangis sebab takde p*ting dalam molot. Acane tu kan..try bagi puting (dummy) dia tak reti. After a deep discussion ngan hubby (ceh macam penting bebeno), kitorang suspect Fahim lapar susu dan tak dapat tido lena. Once dah introduce susu formula tu, hari pertama dia tido straight 8-5. So dah dapatlah jawapannya. 

Formula milk Fahim minum 3x sehari (subuh,afternoon nap &bedtime) dan dia sangat suka minum dalam botol dia yang ada straw tu. Disebabkan dia suka minum air masak dari botol straw tu so mommy introduce formula milk dalam botol tu jugak instead of botol susu berputing macam baby2 pakai. Yang best pasal botol ni sebab it is non-spill & BPA Free, so kalau tinggalkan Fahim minum dalam cot baring pun tak tumpah. Selalunya lepas mandi, bagi dia botol tu dan kitorang bacakan buku cerita sikit sambil polok2 itu budak. Pastu dia okay letak dalam cot sambil minum then lalaland..Dan sebab dia straw, Fahim takdelah nak hisap jugak bila susu dah habis, alhamdulillah takde kes kembung perut. Dan yang paling best, Fahim boleh tidur sendiri dan sometimes 8-5. Tapi kalau dia terjaga tengah malam, itu memang biasanya dia nak peluk sekejap, atau dahaga so tetap bfeed jugak. Kadang dia lapo sangat kot pukul 3 atau 4 pagi, dia prefer fm dan tido sendiri selepas itu sampai kul 8 pagi.

I didn't intend to wean him yet, so I still offer him bmilk during the daytime or whenever he wants. Tapi ini budak kicik macam tak kisah tade mintak sampai ai yang ingatkan 'do u want mimilk?'.. haish..What to do, even I myself wanted to solely breastfeed him until 2yo, but things don't always go as we planned. So Fahim now mixed feeding baby..well he's toddler now. Hehe..

The city of Leeds..

Hari Jemahat lepas kitorang ke Leeds, West Yorkshire. It was a short weekend break actually. Stay satu malam di Travelodge Leeds Colton, rupa-rupanya 4 minutes drive je dengan rumah member a.k.a Zaid's uni-mates, Intan & Wee. Haha..Saje je hambik hangin kat Leeds sebab kitorang belum pernah sampai situ lagi. Since we've never been there before,so I contacted her to ask any halal/buffet restaurants in Leeds that she would reckon to us but it turned out that we had dinner at theirs that night. Sungguh sedap incek Wee masak malam tu. Alahai susah2 aje. Thank you so much for the lovely dinner. Intan is expecting her second one that's why la Wee rajin ke dapur ye. Bertuah lahai..hihi.

Unfortunately my 2 boys had a very bad day, starting from Wednesday night when Fahim vomited up all he had just eaten, followed with cherry berry on the next day. Phew..pening dah cane nak jalan-jalan ni. Hotel dah booked. So bangun pagi terus buat appointment ngan GP. Doc check kata semua ok dan normal sebab biasalah babies always pick things from the floor pastu tak sedar masuk mulut. Friday tu lepas lunch pantau tengok dia dah tak muntah cuma cirit saje. Kitorang teruskan jugak perjalanan. Well, dengan keadaannya begitu memang dijangkalah perjalanan kitorang sedikit terganggu. 2 kali stop kat services, sepatutnya sampai pukul 3, traffic pulak sampai delay 3 hours. Haduii..sabo jelah. Yang penting selamat sampai.

Check in hotel dan rehat2 jap, mandi2 solat, dan bagi Fahim bubur nasi yang dibawak, cirit lagi. Tapi dia masih happy explore bilik hotel tu.

Yang malang tu daddy lah,sampai je hotel dia pulak yang start pening,muntah dan cherry berry jugak. Aishh..berjangkit celah mana pulak? Kesian..Tu yang dinner kat rumah Intan & Wee pun tak sempat snap2 gambo. Ralat betul..

Esoknya lepas check out kitorang singgah kat Argos dekat Colton tu. Beli apa tau?

Penting untuk kasik dia duduk diam barang sejam dua. Tapi sebab dia baru lagi introduce mende ni, so setengah jam je bertahan. Lebih dari tu dia akan buat sign no-no which means taknak tengok dah sile turn off,please. Perangai mommy sangat dia ikut..nak tido dalam keamanan gituh. :p Cite yang dia suka of coz la In The Night Garden. Konfem dozed off pastu.

So we off to Leeds town centre right after that..Memang best city dia. Bukan aku je teruja, incek zaid pun sama. Maklom la, dua2 kaki sopink (oi boleh tahan gak dia tau,bukan ai je). Kitorang gi mall baru Trinity Leeds. Sampai carik port makan dulu..lapo. Tak jumpa lak kebab ke,pakis ke..straight jelah gi Wagamama. Ai order Itame in Prawns soup (opt to Chicken/vegies) sebab lain non-halal. Zaid order apantah nama tapi Salmon with fried noodle. Yang paling best.. 

Order jugak kids meal untuk dia. Cod fishballs,sticky rice,ngan shredded carrot & cucumber. Hamboi selera mommy tengok. Happy sampai terjerit2 gelak satu restoran dengar. Malu ai..Apa2 jelah nak..janji you can sit there and selera nak makan.

Dah makan,alhamdulillah tadelah straight away Fahim cherry berry lagi. Kitorang pun window sopink la sampai la kat luar mall masuk Victoria Quarter yang gah ngan Reiss, LV, Karen Millen dan segala branded things-you-can-name-it gitu. Tetiba feeling kat Milan sebab cam sama pulak building dia. Sayang tak ambik gambo.

Then kitorang jalan jumpa H&M. Memang tak keluar2 dah berjam2 dalam tu. Haha..Nak-nak pulak Fahim dah tido kekenyangan lepas lunch Wagamama tadi. Suka hati mommy daddy menyopink. hewhew..

Harapnya Fahim Zidane cepat lah pulih sepenuhnya. Tak suka taw mommy basuh nappy awak bila cherry berry. Ok peeps,doakan Fahim recover cepat. Sebab 30/4 dia nak kena injection yang setahun tu. Risau plak takut demam. 

Fahim Zidane's Birthday Bash & Treat.

Yeay! Sudah menginjak setahun umurnya si Fahim Zidane hari Khamis yang lepas. Hari tu daddy ambik cuti sebab daddy dan mommy ada something special for the birthday boy. We went to...

Safari Park, the birthday treat.(Thursday 4.4.13)

Pagi tu Fahim bangun agak lewat. So mommy pun pack siap2 untuk picnic nanti; nasi putih ayam masak pedas, satu flask coffee, manggo juice dan nasi putih tomyam campur untuk Fahim. Ye,dia dah makan tomyam. Tapi less salt dan kuah tomyam blend tomato saje. :)

Oh dan tetiba *kringggg* (bunyik loceng rumah)..ada special delivery pulak..

~a surprise bday present untuk bday boy from our friend, Syazwan. Tq so much for the present. Feeling2 krismas pulak dengan sack gini. :)

Kitorang sampai di Safari Park Bewdley, Kidderminster dalam pukul 1.30 camtu. Sampai je parking dulu then makan dalam kereta. Tak gamak nak keluar sebab weather sungguh tak best hari tu. Mendung dan sejuk bebenor. Maka piknik aje dalam kete. Birthday boy makan sampai licin tupperware. Syok kot makan berdiri kat kerusi co-pilot. Huhu.. Dah makan kitorang gerak masuk ke Drive-Thru Safari Park. Mula-mula jumpa rusa wooishhh, kagum mulut dok pot pet2 tunjuk kat Fahim. Pastu sekali zebra datang dari belakang lalu tepi tingkap terperanjat acik..tetiba teringat cite Jumanji..haha! Best kot.

Pusing-pusing terlepas pulak nak masuk ke zone Lions, Cheetah dan haiwan2 seangkatan. Aiseh cuak dah tak boleh patah balik ke sebab one way. Jalan terus jumpa gajah. Yaaa Elephant!! Aku yang paling eksaited sebab aku dah ajor Fahim buat signal belalai gajah siap2..haha semangat tak aku? sebulan aku train dia tau. Tapi as usual, dak Fahim menunjukkan ekspresi TIADA PERASAAN beliau.



grrrr...rasa nak gigit pipi dia. Agaknya sebab bukak tingkap angin tiup muka tu yang member rasa ngantuk tu kot. Bila dah habis pusing keluar je kitorang parking sebb daddy nak gi toilet. Mommy ambik peluang bfeed Fahim. Pastu baru realize 'eh boleh masuk pusing lagi la daddy'..So kitorang drive-thru lagi sekali dan kali ni masuk ke zone Lion, Cheetah, Tigers yang terlepas tadi. Woo..nasib baek..kalo tidak mau nangis aku bayo tiket mahai2 pi Safari Park tak jumpa singa apa kes? Dah puas ati kat zone tu terus chow keluar then daddy cakap jom makan fish & chips. Itulah fast food pertama yang Fahim makan. Fish & Chips. Tapi dia suka chips je, fish dia tak nak sangat. Lepas ni bolehla mommy bagi oven baked chips selalu eh..as jajan. erkk..jajan pun high carb ye. Haha!

Birthday Bash (Saturday 6.4.13)

On Saturday, we're throwing a birthday party for Fahim Zidane. Well, it was not just a birthday party, but also a house warming (sebab since pindah belum buat makan2 lagi) and maybe a farewell(?) too. Hihi..manalah tau ada rezeki balik ke tanah tumpah for good ke. :)

So aku jemput sume yang di Stafford dan few dari Stoke datang. Invitation card sudah dipos seminggu awal.  Ye kad buat sendiri saje. Jimat. Gagaga! Deco pun simple je, more to baby blue. Makanan aku masak laksa sarawak, stimboat sama kuah yong tau fu, dan guests jugak boleh ber'grill' teppanyaki makanan yang diorang suka macam daging atau seafood. Ala-ala Seoul Garden giteww..Desert Marlenka Cake memang kitorang order khas..sorry tuan rumah tak buat kek sebab birthday boy cuma potong kek buah-buahan. Apapun time kasih pada Niza dan Misa/Afizal yang susah-susah je bawak puding jagung dan cuppies.

Yang paling tak menahan si birthday boy hari tu ada babysitters a.k.a abang2 hensem dua orang ni. Tak padan tau ngan kecik tengoklah aksi nak join budak besar.....
